Palm Oil Mill

Palm Oil Mill and plantation now has been popular business in the world. Indonesian is one of the biggest player in this business not only in plantation, mill, but also on refinery which produced cpo to its derivation.

May be most of province in indonesia have POM except in java because no spare land may be. POM has many variatif capacity between 15 ton, 30 ton, 60 ton, 80 ton, and 120 ton.  Depend on haw many land available to support the POM operated.  Someone say to build 1 ton equel to 2,5 billion for to day IDR currency.

POM to day build by corporation and personal owner.  They build POM because of the prospect benefit from building POM.  Many enterpreneur from other background (not from agriculture)  also effort to build it.  So many POM spread around the province where it has no plantation before.  They brave to struggle for fruit price even they have no internal estate (kebun inti),  they buy from farmer or from group farmer.

POM fruit supply from estate,  other (farmer or group farmer have no relation with POM,  and from farmer from POM (plasma). How can POM have no fix fruit supply to survive? Most of them struggle with the fruit price from other POM competitor.  In the other hand they have no strict grading in Mill,  may be many tolerance as long as they can get rendemen (oil production)  aroun their processing target.  Usually aroun more than 20%.

But someting wonder that the same palm tree seed place to other place will produce different oil content.  Remember although from the same seed.  How could be? It because different place have different land and soil. Like in place A rendemen 19, in place B rendemen 20, place C rendemen 21 and etc.
